What We Learned
1. The garage storage was a mistake. Summer heat (110°F+) damaged our panels. Warped plastic, degraded adhesive. $2,000 loss.
2. The temperature monitoring was eye-opening. We tracked treatment room temperature. It reached 85°F during busy afternoons. Added AC. Output improved.
3. The acclimation step was important. Moving a cold device to a warm room caused condensation. We now wait 2 hours after transport before powering on.
4. The ventilation made a difference. Multiple panels in a small room caused heat buildup. We installed better ventilation. Devices run cooler and last longer.
5. The warranty had temperature exclusions. We read the fine print. Damage from temperatures above 95°F wasn’t covered. We were responsible for the garage damage.
For LED therapy clinics, temperature control is essential. Store devices properly. Monitor operating environments. Protect your investment.
